Trust-M: Designing Inclusive & Trustworthy Digital Public Services for Migrants in Finland

- Developed theoretical and conceptual understandings of trust based on literature and empirical data to serve as a foundation for the project team of 35 members.
- Designed ethnographic research plans that engaged with participants in multimodal methods including observations, interviews, focus groups, walking tours and artifact elicitation to gain material understandings of their experiences and perceptions of trust.
- Collaborated with researchers from design, computer science and social science and with city officials working with migrants to share findings, insights and create interdisciplinary research plans.
- Created presentations and facilitated interactive workshops on qualitative methods for researchers of varying backgrounds to guide research across the consortium.
